The Minneapolis College Yellow Ribbon Steering Committee invites you to attend the annual Veterans' Day Recognition Event at 12:30~1:30 p.m., this Wednesday, November 7.

All events will be moved indoors to the Helland Center Multipurpose Room H.1002 due to weather:

  • 12:30 - 12:50 p.m.: Flag Raising Ceremony & Remarks by Dr. Pierce 
  • 12:50 - 1:00 p.m. Short Program/Reception: (H.1002)
  • 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. Panel "Highlighting Women Veterans": (H.1002)

All are invited and light refreshments will be available! We hope you will join us in honoring veterans and family members in our community. 

A "Remember a Veteran" display will be set up by the Helland Skyway, and the "I Am Not Invisible" awareness campaign designed to honor the service and sacrifice of our women veterans is exhibited in the Hennepin Skyway.
