Pre-registration is required and is on a first-come, first serve basis.
Three ways to register:
In-Person: Visit the Continuing Education office during business hours.
By Phone: Call 612-659-6500
Online: Visit our website for registration details. (Available for classes starting after Jan 1, 2019.)
You MUST bring the following items with you on test day:
Two forms of signature-bearing identification, one must have a picture.
Social Security Number
A watch with a second hand
An application (if recently completed a training course): Testers who have completed an NA or NA/HHA class within the last 2-years must bring an application with section 4 or sections 4 and 5 completed by a training instructor from your school.
If you’re registering for a course and it is full, you can request to be placed on the waiting list. If space opens up in the class, we will contact the first person on the waiting list by email. You will have 24 hours to register (preferably online) before we move to the next person on the list. You cannot be placed on a waiting list if you don’t provide an email address.
In most cases we require at least five students for a class to run. If we have to cancel a class due to low enrollment, we will notify you by email and phone at least 24 hours before the class is scheduled to begin. If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund of your tuition.
Full payment must accompany your registration. Payment may be made by check, money order, cash, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.
Checks returned to the College for insufficient funds will result in a $25 charge.
Can a third party (employer, workforce agency) pay my fees?
Yes. A third party can pay your course fees directly at the time of registration, or we can bill them provided we receive an authorization for payment.
Authorizations must contain the following information:
the class(es) you're taking
the total fee authorized for that registration
the address to which we can send an invoice
Authorizations can be faxed to us at 612-659-6505, emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or delivered in person. Authorizations must be accompanied by your complete registration information (your name, address, phone, email).
Please call us at 612-659-6500 to cancel or transfer your registration.
Our refund policy: If you need to cancel your registration and do so at least three full business days before the class starts, you will receive a full refund. No refunds will be granted for cancellations requested fewer than three full business days before a class starts.
Some classes meet at our community partners’ sites, in which case those locations will be noted in the class description and on your confirmation. You can find details about those locations on our partners' websites:
