The MCTC Learning Center provides free tutoring by appointment or on a walk-in basis with both peer tutors and professional tutors. The Learning Center is committed to providing a comfortable learning environment, which fosters respect for all and the expectation that all students can succeed. Our goals include helping students to learn more effectively and independently.
The variety of academic support available includes online tutoring and tutor facilitated study groups. The Learning Center computer and language labs provide help with computer-related questions including help with online and computer courses. The learning center also offers regular mini-sessions on topics in mathematics, English, chemistry and study skills.
