With Spring Semester 2019, Savings Will Be Over the Million Mark!

Starting Spring semester, textbooks savings will have gone past the million dollar mark since the savings program began Summer semester of 2017 at Minneapolis College. The price of traditional textbooks kept going up and up and up. Something had to be done and has been done.

Minneapolis College formed a committee in 2015 to address this major cost issue and started the program to reduce the cost of instructional materials for all students.

The committee was able to substitute no-cost or low-cost instructional materials into the various course curricula and did so beginning with the short Summer semester of 2017 with each semester saving more and more and more for students.
