Family Medical Leave Act

The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is the federal law outlining circumstances under which employees are entitled to unpaid leaves of absence. The State policy governs all Executive branch employees.

Notify our FMLA Coordinator in Human Resources of any leave of absence by completing and submitting the FMLA Request form.

Please refer to your collective bargaining agreement or personnel plan and the Family and Medical Leave Act for additional information about your rights and responsibilities.
