Fitness Challenge

Be a part of the Minneapolis College Fitness Challenge. Students can earn prizes by participating in Campus Recreation & Wellness activities. The Fitness Challenge will begin in early September and go through the end of April. Participants will earn one point for every half hour of training. Prizes will be given when certain point levels are reached.

  • BMI, Body Fat, and Blood Pressure Testing

15 points = Rec Wellness Sack Pack or Hand Towel

30 points = Rec Wellness Water Bottle

45 points = Fitness Challenge Shirt

60 points = Rec Wellness Shorts or Winter Stocking Cap

75 points = Rec Wellness Long Sleeve Performance Shirt

90 points = Ear Buds

105 points = Rec Wellness Performance Hoodie

120 points = $15 Gift Card

135 points = Rec Wellness Sweatpants 

Bootcamp

Dates: September 5th - November 9th

Days: Tuesday's and Thursday's

Time: 1-1:30pm

Location: Bowman Hall Gym, Lower Level

BOOT CAMP INFO

  • 30 minute workout for everyone.
  • It will challenge you no matter your level of fitness.
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness, maximize fat burning, and build total body strength.
  • Plyometrics, calisthenics, agility and speed training, bag work, strength training, kettle bell training, and more.
