Paying for College

TuitionMatch – MN

Triple your money for college!

TuitionMatch is a program designed to encourage participants to get in the habit of saving money from every paycheck. Participants must meet eligibility guidelines, save money from a job into a special savings account for at least six months, and complete a free online financial literacy course. Once all program requirements have been met, participants receive $3 for every one dollar they have put into the account. You can use TuitionMatch funds for college tuition and additional costs required for obtaining a post-secondary degree. As an eligible TuitionMatch participant, you may save up to $960 and deposit the full $960 of earned income when you open your savings account; or you can make monthly installments over the course of two years. This initial investment will be matched 3:1 for a total of up to $3,840.

  • Triple your money: Save $1 and we will match it with $3
  • Receive financial literacy training, individualized career counseling and work experiences
  • Stay on track so you can graduate fully prepared to enter the workforce with minimal debt
