Choices Successful College Students Make

Sometimes, despite all our efforts to be successful in college and in life, we find ourselves "off course." Our choices are to wander through life unaware that we are off course or we can recognize when we are off course. This presentation will focus on recognizing when you are off course at college, in a relationship, in your job or somewhere else in your life. 

Maximizing Success: Developing Effective Stress Management Skills

Changes and challenges are inevitable in our lives; thus, so is the potential for stress. We will discuss common sources of stress for students (deadline, relationship, demanding college curriculum, adjusting to a new environment). We will identify stress indicators, learn to make some behavioral changes, and end the session with a relaxation exercise.

Many students start college without knowing what to major in. We will show you the process of career exploration. From the process you will identify your strengths and skills, find out more information on different occupations. Your self-knowledge and occupational information will help you decide on a career track that's a good fit for you.
