May 3 Events to Highlight Students’ Accomplishments, New Brand Strategy and Opportunities to Provide Support

Minneapolis Community and Technical College will host several events on May 3 to showcase its students’ talents as well as some of the significant transformations that are underway on campus.

Brand Launch Showcase

The College will reveal its new branding identity at a Brand Launch Showcase at 4:30 p.m. in the Library Foyer in Wheelock Whitney Hall, 1501 Hennepin Avenue.

“The new brand strategy will help elevate the College’s unique distinctions and value to the community, with its identifiable location and its clear mission to deliver high-quality education,” said President Sharon Pierce. “It signifies the exciting time of change that is underway with our organizational achievements and the many transformational student experiences that are so evident across our campus.”

The College’s new logo and visual identity system was developed based on input received from more than 600 stakeholders through one-on-one interviews, focus groups, brand strategy sessions, exercises and an electronic survey. Input came from students, prospective students, parents of prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, Foundation board members, industry and business partners.
