MCTC welcomes new Executive Director of College Advancement
MCTC is pleased to welcome Penny Schumacher as their newly-appointed Executive Director of College Advancement.
Penny has nearly 20 years of experience in non-profit fundraising. In her previous position, she developed successful fundraising initiatives while building strong community support and advancing strategic planning. She led a multi-million-dollar capital funding campaign and implemented strategies resulting in a significant increase in donations, grants and endowment funds. Penny holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and Sociology from the University of Minnesota and also completed the Public Affairs Policy Fellows Program at the University of Minnesota’s Hubert H. Humphrey Institute for Public Affairs.
Penny’s leadership experience in financial resource development will help guide our successful partnerships with alumni, corporate and other donors. In this position, Penny will work with the Foundation to develop and manage a fundraising plan including strategies for maximizing event revenue and annual campaign contributions. She will also manage student scholarship and alumni relations programs. Penny will begin her new role on February 21.
