MCTC's 2013 Portfolio Shows
The Minneapolis Community and Technical College Apparel, Graphic Design and Photography and Digital Imaging programs will showcase their student work and talent at the 2013 spring Portfolio Shows. Beginning May 2 with the Apparel Technologies fashion show and running through May 11, these Portfolio Shows demonstrate the wide range of exquisite talent honed in MCTC’s programs. Information on the three shows is listed below.
Minneapolis Community and Technical College is proud to present Shouts and Whispers, the Apparel Technology fashion show featuring 15 Clothing Line Design students and their senior collections. As a capstone to the Apparel Technologies program, graduating students cull the skills they have learned in classes like Garment Construction, Draping and Cad Design to produce a collection of four to five complete looks.

The Graphic Design Department of Minneapolis and Community Technical College announces its upcoming Portfolio Show METHOD—a display of creative professional work produced by this year’s print and web design graduates. The show takes place over a period of two days, providing an opportunity for students to meet and network with potential employers and clients, as well as fellow graphic designers. Attendees get a chance to see the culmination of student work, with the class theme focusing on the unique process and creative style of each individual designer.
METHOD Portfolio Show Dates:

Wednesday May 8, 6–9 p.m.: Motion Screening Night. Social from 6–7 p.m. Screening at 7 p.m.
Thursday May 9, 6–9 p.m.: Reception
