Eligibility
Educational Talent Search will provide assistance if any of the following applies to you:
- you are between the ages of 11 and 27
- you are currently enrolled in 6th through 12th grade
- you have dropped out of secondary or post-secondary schools
- you are an alternative high school student
- you are a first generation college student (neither parent completed college) eligibilty requirements
- you are a low income student eligibilty requirements

Eligibility requirements
Qualified students are enrolled at MCTC with intent to graduate and/or transfer to an institution granting Bachelor's degrees. Eligibility is subject to proof of at least one of the following characteristics:
- First-generation college student: This means that neither parent has completed a Bachelor's degree.
- Student with one or more disabilities: This means that you have a diagnosed physical, learning, or mental impairment.
- Low-income student: This means that your income does not exceed the Federal TRiO Program guidelines. The guidelines as of February 2007 are shown below.
