How do I answer questions in voicemail?
Press 1 for YES.
Press 2 for NO.
Why do my calls no longer go to voicemail?
Most likely, FBNA is not set properly. The FBNA setting directs your calls when your phone is busy (B) or not answered (NA). To reprogram your FBNA setting, please refer to the instructions in our phone user guide.
Must I use a security code?
There is no security if you do not set a password for a voicemail box. Potentially, anyone could enter your voicemail box. We encourage you to set a password for all voicemail boxes. Should you forget the password, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 612-659-6600, to initiate a password reset.
How long can I make my voicemail greeting?
The maximum length for the voicemail greeting is two minutes. This is a system wide default.
Why doesn't my Message button work?
The Message button is simply a speed dial to the voicemail system. To set the Message button press the Feature button, then the Message button, dial 6400 and press the Feature button. You can also dial 6400 instead of using the Message button.
