Admission requirements

If you are a high school senior applying to enroll in college after graduation, complete this process as well. Please submit your final high school transcript after graduation as proof of high school graduation.

If you are over 18 years of age and no longer in high school and you do not have a high school diploma or GED, you must apply to the college under the Ability to Benefit program.

  1. Apply online
  2. Pay $20 non-refundable application fee
  3. Complete the college placement tests
  4. Attend orientation and register for classes

Special admission programs

Some career programs require more than the completed admission process for eligibility. If you are applying to the following programs please contact the appropriate area listed below to learn about the additional admission requirements that exist for these programs.

Note: Acceptance into Minneapolis Community and Technical College does not guarantee enrollment in a career/technical program. A student's academic record and placement test results must meet the program's requirements and space must be available in order to enroll. Refer to the college catalog for specific career/technical program requirements.
