Attend an orientation/registration session

If you are new to MCTC, you need to do the following before signing up for orientation:

• Turn in your completed MCTC application to the Admissions Office at least five days before orientation.
• Take the MCTC placement tests. After your test, choose and register for orientation at the Testing Center.

On the day of your orientation, give yourself extra time to find parking. Arrive on time and plan to spend about three hours doing the following:

• Learning more about MCTC.
• Choosing your classes with help from MCTC advisors and counselors.
• Registering for your first term MCTC classes.

Bring these items to your orientation/registration:

• Letter of Admission to MCTC
• Placement test results
• Picture ID
• Pencil or pen
• MCTC catalog and class schedule (if you have them)
