Apply online

• You will need to create a MnSCU account to apply online.
• After creating your MnSCU account, you can proceed to complete the online admissions application.
• If you have any questions, please email the Admissions Office, or call 612-659-6200.

Complete the online application and submit electronically once you have answered all required questions. It may take up to 72 hours to process your application once it has been received.

Please read the following instructions prior to completing the online application.

1. Application fee - There is a non-refundable $20.00 application fee that will be automatically generated once you have applied for admission. You may use the payment link on the final page to securely pay your fee with a credit card online. Please have a credit card available for payment. The application fee is required for admission to the College.
2. Email address - The email address is optional. However, in order for us best serve you and provide you with the most up-to-date College information we ask that you provide us with your e-mail address.
3. Date of birth - MCTC requests your date of birth in order to assign you an initial PIN number. Without this information, we will not be able to assign you a PIN number and you will not be able to access our online services.
4. Choose a major/program - Please select only ONE major. You must choose a major in order to be eligible for financial aid. You are welcome to make changes to your major after your application has been processed by completing the Change of Major form and submitting it to the Student Services Center.

There will be an opportunity to double-check your work before submitting your application. Please ensure your work is accurate.

Do not reply to the email confirmation you receive. Use the contact information above to contact an Admissions staff member for assistance.

Do not use this application if:

• You previously attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College (including PSEO students and persons who attended Minneapolis Community College and Minneapolis Technical College).
• You are a MCTC employee.
• You are an international student.
