If a man empties his purse into his head no one can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.-- Benjamin Franklin

Invest in knowledge

This statement is as true today as it was during Benjamin Franklin's time. An investment in knowledge truly does pay the best interest, not only for individuals, but also for the community at large. In other words, if you receive a good education, no one can take it away from you. Investing in knowledge today can make your dreams come true tomorrow.

A diverse student body

At MCTC, we value and embrace diversity. Because there is power in our differences -- power in our diverse knowledge and talents. The world is becoming increasingly global and our campus reflects that. As the tenth largest post-secondary institution in Minnesota, we're also the most ethnically diverse college in the state with over 80 languages and unique dialects spoken on campus. Located in the heart of Minneapolis -- a vibrant and growing metropolis -- we serve more than 11,000 students annually.
