Magazine & Journal Indexes
The Library subscribes to many alternative press magazines and journals.
For a list of the alternative magazines and journals that the Library
subscribes to, please look at our
Alternative Periodicals List
. To search for articles published in alternative magazines and
journals, choose one of the following indexes. To search these databases from
off campus you must be an MCTC student, faculty or staff member with a valid
library barcode and password.

Library Zine Collection
Zines are indexed by author/editor, title and broad subject area, and are
searchable from the Zine Catalog. All zines are
non-circulating, meaning that they must be used in the library only. However,
zines may be photocopied. If you produce a zine please consider donating a copy
to the library so that others might view your work. The library received a
donation of about 1,000 zines from Chris Dodge, librarian at the Utne Reader.
This gift provides the foundation of the library's zine collection.
Please consider sending us a copy of your zine, or pass the word on to a
friend who produces zines. The Library welcomes zine donations of all types.
