Science and Allied Health Open House

Health clinic for students opens
Boynton Health Service for MCTC Students opened Nov. 17 with Quick Clinic, walk-in care on the second floor of the T Building, room 2040. Call 612-625-3222 for more information.

MCTC alum Rozenia Fuller wins TRiO award
The Rev. Rozenia A.H. Fuller has received a 2009 TRiO Achievers Award from the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel. The prestigious award recognizes outstanding former participants in the federal TRiO
programs who have made significant civic, community or professional contributions.

Geoffrey Canada to headline MLK event
Geoffrey Canada, president and CEO of the Harlem Children’s Zone, will serve as keynote speaker for MCTC's “Celebrate the Dream” 20th annual birthday tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event, which typically attracts more than 2,000 people, will be held Jan. 15 at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. Target is sponsoring the event.

100 community volunteers wanted for choir
MCTC is seeking 100 community volunteers to serve in a mass choir that will perform at MCTC’s “Celebrate the Dream” event on Friday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m., at the Basilica of St. Mary located at 16th and Hennepin.
