MCTC is a two-year college located in downtown Minneapolis, serving the diverse, multicultural communities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. We provide a comprehensive offering of developmental, liberal arts, pre-professional, professional, and technical programs.

Responsibilities:

The individual in this position is responsible for developing and coordinating a wellness and recreation student life program at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. The Student Activities Coordinator is charged with being a team member within Student Life, developing and administering, and marketing an intramural program, wellness workshops, and other student life activities related to health, wellness and recreation for students.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Experience with Microsoft word, Excel, Publisher or equivalent programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Related experience in higher education and community organizations.
  • Experience working with and facilitating program development.
  • Experience in a Student Life setting on a college campus.
  • Experience with recreational, intramural, health and/or wellness activities.
  • Experience in Higher Education.
