Boynton Health Services for MCTC students is open for "quick" clinic walk-in care on the 2nd floor of the T building, room T.2040 (take a left at the coffee shop). Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) are coordinating Toys for Tots for MCTC Students. If you are interested in getting toys for your children, please stop by the LOT table in the T Skyway on Tuesday, Nov. 24, between 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. You must present two out of three of the following identification: MCTC student ID, State ID, MCTC Fall class schedule with your name printed on it. The Rev. Rozenia A.H. Fuller has received a 2009 TRiO Achievers Award from the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel. The prestigious award recognizes outstanding former participants in the federal TRiO
programs who have made significant civic, community or professional contributions.

Tuition is due for the Spring 2010 semester on Dec. 18. This is also the priority deadline for Financial Aid. All students who have submitted the online FAFSA application AND turned in all documents requested by Friday, Dec. 18 will receive an award letter before classes begin. Geoffrey Canada, president and CEO of the Harlem Children’s Zone, will serve as keynote speaker for MCTC's “Celebrate the Dream” 20th annual birthday tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event, which typically attracts more than 2,000 people, will be held Jan. 15 at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. Target is sponsoring the event.
MCTC is seeking 100 community volunteers to serve in a mass choir that will perform at MCTC’s “Celebrate the Dream” event on Friday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m., at the Basilica of St. Mary located at 16th and Hennepin.
