MCTC offers two self-advising tools

How do I apply for graduation?

You will need to submit the Intent to Graduate form to the Office of the Registrar for the term in which you expect to complete all required coursework. Deadlines are indicated in the online Academic Calendar.

If you are planning to complete the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum and transfer you will need to apply for graduation review.

What is the benefit of completing the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum?

Minnesota Transfer Curriculum is a package of general education courses accepted for transfer to the other state colleges and universities.

Before you submit your Intent Form, you are encouraged to meet with a counselor or advisor to help you review your academic record for completion of your academic program. You can schedule an appointment in the Counseling and Advising Office (T.2500), or by calling 612-659-6700.

You are responsible for submitting your Intent to Graduate form to the Office of the Registrar by the established deadline for the term you wish to be considered for graduation.

When will I know if I have graduated?

The Office of the Registrar will begin to notify students by mail regarding the status of your graduation review approximately 4 weeks after the end of each term.
