MCTC Women's Basketball Team has a new coach in Keith Lindahl, no stranger to the conference. Lindahl was in the Head Coach at Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 2000-2005, compiling an overall record of 100-37. He left upon the conclusion of the 2005 season, after winning a National Championship. From Anoka-Ramsey Coach Lindahl went to an NAIA school, Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO. He spent the past 3 seasons there resurecting a program that had suffered some tough seasons prior to his arrival. Coach Lindahl left Missouri Valley with a 46-45 record and made the playoffs in each of his 3 seasons there.

Coach Lindahl came back to Minnesota to rejoin his wife and family. In his 8 years as a college coach, Lindahl has coached 9 all-americans, while helping many other player to move on to further their education and basketball careers at other colleges.

"I am very happy and excited to be here at MCTC and I look forward to building a championship program that will make the Minneapolis community proud. We will be an exciting team, looking to run the floor and apply pressure defense to create turnovers and score in transition. This is a great school and community, and it is a fantastic opportunity for the young women in the Twin Cities to start their college careers."
