First TIME (INCOMING) Minneapolis College Students

Are you planning to begin your time at Minneapolis College during spring (January) 2026 semester or later? We encourage you to complete the Student Checklist and meet with a first-term advisor through the opportunities listed on the Contact Admissions webpage.

Academic Advising Appointments 
**Scheduled Appointments have been filled until Tuesday, January 20; please plan to come to Drop-In Advising (listed below) for support prior to Spring 2026 Semester**

Appointments are scheduled through Navigate and are a great opportunity to meet to discuss and create a plan to fulfill your academic goals at Minneapolis College and beyond! If you are unable to find an appointment time that works with your schedule, please come to Drop-In Advising (hours listed below).

Drop-In Advising (T.2500): No appointment needed! Meet with an academic advisor to ask questions about your next steps at Minneapolis College. Drop-In Advising is first come, first served for quick 10 minute connections.

  • Monday, 1/5: 10 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 1/6: 10 - 11:30 a.m. (Zoom) and 2 - 5 p.m. **
  • Wednesday, 1/7: 10 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, 1/8: 10 - 11:30 a.m. (Zoom) and 1 - 4 p.m. **
  • Friday, 1/9: 10 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.

** The Tuesday, 1/6 and Thursday, 1/8 morning sessions will be held on Zoom (click the link to sign in and receive the Zoom meeting link via email) and afternoon sessions will be held in partnership with the 1Stop events and include financial aid help.
