Sociology

The Social Science division provides a wide range of courses designed to increase student's knowledge of how historians and social and behavioral scientists discover, describe and explain the behaviors and interactions among individuals, groups, institutions, events and ideas.  While distinct in their approaches, which include comparative, historical and scientific methodologies, the disciplines are unified by an under lying ethical concern with dignity and meaning in people's lives.
