MCTC allows access to databases from off-campus using a proxy server. The proxy server allows you to access our subscription databases by authenticating that you are a valid MCTC Library patron.

• When you try to access one of the Library databases you will be prompted for your User Name and Password.
  
  User Name - Enter the 14-digit barcode number from the back of your Campus ID Card. ---- For example, 20204000123456
  
  Password - Enter your last name only. For example, Smith.
• Hit "OK" when prompted by your web browser.

Other Issues

• Cookies must be enabled.
• Proxy service may not work through institutional or personal firewalls.
