Directing and Producing
Program description
The Directing and Producing curriculum immerses you in the art, craft, business and discipline of directing and explores the structures and conventions of cinematic storytelling. You will collaborate with cast members and crews, interpret scripts, elicit dramatic performances, determine camera coverage strategies, design “look” and emotional tone and supervise the final work in the cutting room.
Program start and location
New students are admitted into the Cinema programs in the fall semester only. Courses are taught on MCTC’s main campus. You will spend considerable time outside the classroom working on productions.
