Student Resources

As a student, the best way to prepare yourself is to take an active role in your own education. You can do this by taking placement testing seriously and researching your career options early.

There are many resources to help you explore career choices. Both MCIS and iseek are effective tools to help you identify career fields you are interested in and where the jobs will be in those fields.

Taking the Accuplacer placement test will help you know if you are ready to take college courses or if additional help is needed. Programs such as Jump Start to College, PSEO or concurrent enrollment are offered at MCTC to help students prepare early for college. Talk with your high school counselor or email us for more information.
