Prospective Students Acceptance Letters
Prospective students who have fully completed all the steps in the Power of YOU application process prior to the May 1, 2014 deadline, will begin receiving acceptance letters in June 2014. These steps include:
- Submitting the four page signed Power of YOU application.
- Completing placement tests with placement into two or more areas above ABE level.
- Submitting MCTC financial aid verification paperwork (after completing FAFSA on-line).
Students are required to attend the mandatory Power of YOU orientation on the date assigned and listed in their acceptance letter. Students will only be able to register after they have attended the summer Power of YOU orientation.
Important note: Students are responsible to withdraw from courses after orientation if they do not plan to attend in the fall.
If MCTC Financial Aid verification has not been completed, prospective students are mailed a final notification letter informing them that they need to respond to correspondence sent from MCTC's Financial Aid Office in order to be admitted to the program.
