Graduate Minnesota Scholarship Guidelines
The intent of the Graduate MN scholarship is to provide incentive to students who have earned college credit, stopped out for some reason, and wish to return to school and complete a certificate, diploma or degree.
- Scholarship eligibility will be determined based upon your graduation plan and how it demonstrates your motivation and readiness to complete an award.
- Scholarships are for the actual cost of tuition, fees, textbooks and the required course materials up to a maximum of $1500. Scholarships are typically split into two $750 awards over the course of one school year, although exceptions may be made for students who only have one semester to complete.
- If you intend to complete a certificate program, it must be 30 credits or more to qualify for a Graduate MN scholarship.
- You must complete the entire application form, including the graduation plan.
- If you qualify for the Graduate MN scholarship, you will receive an award letter that allows you to hold your spot in classes beyond the payment deadline.
- The cost of your classes and any textbooks/required course materials charged at the MCTC Bookstore will be incurred on your student account. You are responsible for any costs that exceed your scholarship or other forms of financial aid.
- This scholarship application includes permission to release information to Graduate Minnesota funders and the MnSCU Office of the Chancellor.
