Jamal Adam Named 2014 Bush Fellow

Jamal Adam, MCTC Jamal Adam, MCTC counselor, instructor and Phi Theta Kappa faculty advisor, was awarded a 2014 Bush Fellowship by the Bush Foundation. He is one of 24 exceptional leaders from across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and 23 Native nations to be honored.

In a move that will diversify Hennepin County’s Human Services Division and bring together community partners, Hennepin County has changed its education hiring requirements. As of January, the Human Services Representative position is open to candidates who have a two-year degree, who have graduated from a county-approved training program or who have a combination of education and experience.
