Student Support receives Innovative Program Award
During a ceremony at Minnesota State Colleges & Universities Academic and Student Affairs Leadership Conference on Thursday, October 20, MCTC’s Student Support Center (SSC) was recognized with an Innovative Student Affairs Program Award.
Faculty earn Luoma Leadership Academy certificates
Dr. Jennifer Brookins-King, director of MCTC’s TRIO Starting Point-Student Support Services; Miki Huntington, Political Science faculty; and, Gregory Rose, Art faculty, were recently awarded graduate certificates from the Luoma Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy is an 18-month leadership development program.
President's open forums give students a voice
The open forums drew students from both liberal arts and technical areas of the College, including representatives from the MCTC Student Senate and the African American Education Empowerment Program (AME).
