MCTC Theatre Arts department, in association with Student Life, presents Mary Shelly’s Frankensteinfor its fall play production. Directed by Maxine Klein and adapted for the stage by Victor Gialanella.

Cost
Admission is free. Audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Emergency Food Shelf Network of Hennepin County.

About the play
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein has haunted people’s imagination since the 19th century when she wrote what she called a fairytale. Individuals have viewed it as a fascinating, exciting, horror-filled tale of foreboding and relevance. Viewers witness the story of a visionary, idealistic, young scientist driven to experiment beyond nature’s limits in his quest to bring a dead person to life. In the process, this scientist ends up creating a monster beyond anyone’s ability to control.
Due to adult subject matter and content, the show is not recommended for children under age 12.
