Spring Financial Aid Dates

MCTC's Divison of Continuing Education offers iOS development classes Student success requires planning for college costs! Here are a few tips every student should know in preparation for the spring semester of 2016:

December 1, 2015: Financial Aid Priority Date

What is the financial aid priority date? Submitting your financial aid materials by this date assures that your financial aid award letter will be available before spring semester 2016 classes start as long as all required financial aid documents are turned into the Student Service Center (T.2200) by this date.

This date does not apply to students who already have their 2015–2016 Award Letter. So if you used financial aid to pay for the fall semester of 2015, you're already good to go!. Click here for more information on the steps to receiving financial aid.

Can you still apply for financial aid after this date? Yes! This date is simply a way to guarantee avoiding unexpected delays.

When is the first Spring Semester 2016 financial aid disbursement? January 26, 2016 is the first disbursement; subsequent disbursements are paid on Tuesdays throughout the semester.

December 17, 2015: Tuition Due Date

What is it? MCTC asks all registered students to meet the payment policy by this date. By meeting the payment policy, you secure your entire schedule of courses—including any changes you make later. It’s easy to meet the payment policy!

What if you register after December 17? No problem! You are encouraged to meet the payment policy within 2–3 business days. If you need more time, or don’t see a payment option that fits your situation, please visit with an employee in Business Services.

Can you get a refund if you change your mind? Yes! As long as you drop the course(s) by the published refund date. For most spring 2016 courses, the last day to drop is January 15, 2016.
